Each PRO-KORK is made in an individual process (separate form) from polymere material using the injection-pressing technique, which corresponds both to the organoleptic and food regulation requirements fully (among other things no so-called softeners). Therefore it possesses a closed surface. |
Its interior shows a homogeneous, evenly fine cell structure, which is reached by a specially developed material composition. These characteristics as well as the 100% gas tightness, good elasticity and further criteria were confirmed among other things by investigations of the leading institutes. |
The manufacturing tolerances of a PRO-KORK are smaller by the individual precision manufacture (separate form for each cork) than with other well-known manufacturing processes. The increased reliability and tightness that result from our precision manufacturing are to the benefit of our users. |
We produce in Germany with extensive measures and instruments for quality assurance. These include selection and purchase of the raw materials, the different stages of the manufacturing process, and at the finished product. Also, sensorial tests and purity analysis are carried out routinely. |
